Hi Stefan,

... Casi wants to reinvent "conscious action" against
"invisible hand". However, it is not an opposite. ...

... especially not, if you turn the invisible hand into a visible
hand:

"Your" invisible hand is a quite "visible hand", because all
that infrastructural questions of logistics, planning,
organizing etc. are only be solveable by those people who view
and know them best. This excludes "central planning" as any
simple individualist picture of "there is my need, and there I
produce my satisfaction".

That's what I wanted to say. Only, that for me there is a
difference between a visible and an invisible hand.

The concept of an invisible hand is an "excuse" -- in the same
way as the concept of god is an excuse -- for the things being
this way and not another. Wherever such a concept arises, it's
function is to tell everybody: There is 'something' beyond our
recognition that knows better. And that we|you have to accept.
Be it God, Nature, or the Invisible Hand and Whatever. Freedom
does not need excuses. Or it is again just the freedom of the
few.

And then, I would like to correct myself: I do not want to
*re*-*invent* conscious action. I do *expect*, that
consciousness *will grow* up to the point where one can say: it
exists. What we deem consciousness today is still a far way off.
(But I think, I already said that, and, I'm afraid it might sound
quite mystical to you :-(

Gruß,
Casi.
