[ox-en] Music business model

now this is quite something... coupled with the increasing profit pressure on the universals, this business model seems to have some serious support from one key stakeholder. the actual costs of the hardware will be interesting to know. 5$ per month adds quite something to the costs for the hardware. so even with the "right" business model, to me it seems, their exorbitant cost structure will be a major obstacle to legal free music.

"While the details are in flux, insiders say Morris & Co. have an intriguing business model: get hardware makers or cell carriers to absorb the cost of a roughly $5-per-month subscription fee so consumers get a device with all-you-can-eat music that's essentially free."
