The interesting thing is, that this is a piece of H. as we would call
it on the German list. How is the social organized? What about power,
decision making, domination and so on? Interesting questions IMHO.

If you have specific or even more general questions that you don't
think the consitution covers or questions about how it's used, I'd be
happy to try and answer them for you.

There may be other DD's on the list as well.


Not a developer, but I've been recommending the model of debian to a
lot of people for a while.

Things about the culture surrounding the Debian Constitution that I like:

        approval by consensus

        commitment to a well-defined stated set of ideals

        a collection of grumpy developers who always feel their toes are
        being trodden on

        a mechanism to allow the construction of a publicly visible
        archive of debate

        it made me cry when I read it.

The last one surprised me. But I think that it's a good sign for a piece
of text.
