interest was a medieval invention (I think, I dont remember), at least as a
force of economic growth. Was born at the same time as money, it existed
before but it was not an important institution.

I think you misunderstood.  I didn't suggest that interest was a neo-con
invention, but that some here believe in neo-con deceptions like:
(1) that you CAN have the cake and eat it too, and
(2) that interest (usury) is harmless.
